Job Description The Accountant is responsible in maintaining proper record and accounting of daily operations in Alfardan Properties \- Oman Branch, while ensuring that the accounting records are maintained in compliance with the Company’s Policies and Procedures. **Responsibilities:** * Facilitate the preparation of periodical management information reports. * Providing financial information through regularly generated reports * Ensuring that set Accounting Processes, policies, systems and programs across Business Units are followed. * Provide accurate, timely and relevant financial information. * Maintenance of organized \& complete source document files, ensuring compliance with policies \& procedures. * Ensures that the GL is up to date and reconciled. * Timely \& accurate processing of all documents, and maintenance of supporting records. * Contributes to development of improved finance policies \& processes. * Satisfaction of Business Units with Finance services. * Proper review of all information produced under area of responsibility. * Preparation \& analyses of Reports. * Meet agreed time for work completion/deadlines. * Liaison with other departments for work related matters. * Ensures timely \& accurate processing of non\-payroll disbursements to individuals, and other entities.
