Whether promoting spa services or retail sales, scheduling reservations and confirming appointments, answering questions about services, registering guests, or processing payments, the Spa Specialist ensures these transactions become a positive part of the guest experience. No matter your position, there are a number of fundamental things that support success—creating a safe work environment; following company policies and procedures, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communication remain professional at all times. The Spa Specialist will constantly be on the move (standing, sitting, walking for extended periods on uneven and slippery surfaces); actively participating (must be able to move, lift, push, pull, and place objects unassisted up to 10 pounds and up to 25 pounds with assistance; reach above and below knees, bend, twist, stretch, and crouch). Performing all tasks to the best ability (and other reasonable tasks as requested) is critical—Spa Specialists must consistently do what's right for both guests and the business.
