Engage in inventory, costing, and manufacturing-related accounting processes **Sohar Iron \& Billets Company LLC (SIBCO)** **Location:** Al Buraimi, Buraimi Industrial Area, Phase 2 **Job Type:** Full\-time \| On\-site **Job Opening:** Accountant Sohar Iron \& Billets Company LLC (SIBCO), a manufacturing facility located in Al Buraimi, Oman, is currently in the pre\-operational stage and is seeking a responsible and experienced **Accountant** to join our team. This position is suitable for a candidate who can work accurately in a manufacturing environment, maintain proper financial records, control payments and receivables, support audit and compliance requirements, and assist management in maintaining strong financial control during this important stage of company development. Candidate Requirements: The candidate must have strong accounting experience, preferably in a **manufacturing, industrial, or production\-based company**. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. * Minimum **9 years of relevant accounting experience**. * Experience in **manufacturing accounting**, including inventory, raw materials, production\-related expenses, costing, and financial control. * Good knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, payments, supplier accounts, and customer accounts. * Ability to maintain accurate records for audit, compliance, and management review. * Strong understanding of internal controls, cash flow monitoring, and financial risk reporting. * Ability to work with ERP/accounting systems and maintain proper documentation. * Good English communication skills. * High level of responsibility, accuracy, confidentiality, and professional discipline. * **Male applicants only.** * **Nationality: Arab / Egyptian.** Assessment Test Before the interview, shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical accounting test. The purpose of the test is to assess the candidate’s accounting knowledge, accuracy, reporting ability, and understanding of manufacturing\-related accounting matters. The interview will be arranged based on the candidate’s test result and overall profile evaluation. Primary Responsibilities * Maintaining accounting records and financial reports. * Controlling payments and receivables. * Managing supplier and customer account records. * Supporting audit and compliance requirements. * Assisting in timely financial reporting. * Monitoring cash flow and financial controls. * Supporting inventory, costing, and manufacturing\-related accounting processes. * Identifying and reporting financial risks as needed.
