Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability **Senior Systems Analyst** **Purpose of the Role:** To analyze, develop, and enhance technical systems to ensure alignment with business requirements, while delivering effective solutions that support operations and improve organizational performance in accordance with best practices in the Sultanate of Oman. **Key Responsibilities:** * Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications. * Design systems and document processes and workflows. * Coordinate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of solutions. * Conduct system testing (UAT) and ensure operational readiness. * Analyze performance of existing systems and propose improvements. * Prepare system documentation and technical reports. * Support users and resolve complex technical issues. * Ensure integration among various systems within the organization. * Monitor system updates and emerging technologies. * Adhere to information security standards and IT governance frameworks. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. * Minimum 5–10 years of experience in systems analysis. * Experience with systems analysis tools such as UML and BPMN. * Solid knowledge of databases (SQL). * Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). **Required Skills:** * Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability. * Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams. * Ability to manage requirements and prioritize effectively. * Organizational and time management skills. * Critical thinking and data-driven decision-making. **Work Environment:** * Office-based work or collaboration within technical teams. * Continuous collaboration with multiple internal teams. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Accuracy of requirements analysis and reduction of post-implementation changes. * Quality of developed systems and user satisfaction. * Speed of resolution for technical issues. * Improvement in system performance and reduction in failures. * Adherence to project timelines.
