Providing technical consultancy to improve sound quality. **Acoustics Engineer** **Job Purpose:** Designing and analyzing acoustic and noise control systems to ensure acoustically comfortable and standards-compliant environments in the Sultanate of Oman. **Responsibilities & Duties:** * Conducting acoustic measurement and analysis studies for projects (Noise \& Vibration Analysis). * Designing acoustic insulation and noise control solutions for buildings and industrial facilities. * Preparing acoustic impact assessment reports and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. * Using acoustic simulation software for performance analysis (e.g., EASE, CadnaA). * Collaborating with architectural and mechanical engineering teams to ensure design integration. * Supervising on-site implementation of acoustic insulation works. * Providing technical consultancy to clients regarding sound quality improvement. * Testing acoustic systems and verifying compliance with specifications. * Keeping abreast of international and local acoustic standards. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Acoustics, Mechanical, or equivalent). * Minimum 3–7 years of experience in acoustics. * Proficiency in acoustic analysis and simulation software. * Familiarity with noise and vibration standards (ISO, OSHA, or equivalent). **Required Skills:** * Strong analytical skills in acoustics and vibration. * Ability to resolve complex technical problems. * Effective communication and teamwork skills. * High accuracy and attention to detail. * Ability to work at various sites. **Work Environment:** * Working in engineering offices and project sites. * May require working at industrial or construction sites. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Level of noise reduction and sound quality improvement. * Compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. * Quality of implemented acoustic designs. * Client satisfaction. * Accuracy of acoustic reports and analyses.
