Answer questions about available services, general hotel information and amenities. Confirm the guest's first and last name and the type of treatment scheduled before beginning. Supervise and maintain the scheduled schedule throughout the day. Notify service providers of last-minute changes or additions to the schedule and resolve scheduling issues as needed. Promote and sell spa or beauty salon retail services and products. Place orders for additional products, supplies or equipment. Inspect work areas, instruments and equipment to ensure they meet company standards. Notify Engineering of maintenance and repair needs for the spa or beauty salon. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model. Report accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions to the manager. Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate their service needs and address them; thank them sincerely; assist people with disabilities. Communicate with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer phones using proper protocol. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards; develop and implement corrective action plans to improve quality. Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: High school diploma or equivalent certificate from a General Educational Development (GED) program. Relevant work experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
