The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in health and safety management, with specific knowledge of battery systems and fire safety standards. This is a time\-bound project role requiring immediate to short\-term availability. Key Responsibilities * Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on\-site in compliance with local regulations and international standards * Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits related to battery energy storage systems * Ensure strict compliance with battery fire safety standards and emergency response procedures * Oversee fire prevention measures, incident reporting, and corrective actions * Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training to project personnel * Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and management to maintain a safe working environment * Investigate incidents and near\-misses, and prepare detailed safety reports **Qualifications** * **NEBOSH Certification (mandatory)** * Proven experience as a Safety Engineer, preferably on energy, power, or industrial projects * Strong knowledge of **battery safety and fire safety**, particularly standards related to battery fires * Familiarity with international HSE standards and best practices * Ability to work effectively on\-site in a fast\-paced project environment
