Engineer the digital backbone of a regional trade hub. **Systems Integration Engineer** **Organization:** Scita Integrasi Oman **Location:** Tech Building, Port Road, Sohar **Remuneration:** OMR 3,300 per month (All\-inclusive) **The Integration Objective** Strategically located on Port Road in Sohar, Scita Integrasi is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to harmonize our industrial and enterprise ecosystems. This role is for a technical specialist who excels at connecting disparate hardware and software platforms into a unified, high\-performance architecture. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless data exchange between our Port\-side operations and back\-end management systems. **Architecture \& Integration DNA** * **Interoperability Management:** Design and implement robust API layers and middleware solutions to bridge legacy industrial systems with modern cloud infrastructure. * **Protocol Synchronization:** Manage and troubleshoot diverse communication protocols (MQTT, Modbus, REST) to ensure 100% data fidelity across the Sohar Port Road facility. * **System Hardening:** Collaborate with security teams to ensure all integrated endpoints meet the Sultanate’s critical infrastructure protection standards. * **Performance Engineering:** Conduct end\-to\-end latency testing and throughput optimization to ensure real\-time system responsiveness for maritime and logistics stakeholders. **Professional Prerequisites** * **Technical History:** 7\+ years of experience in systems integration or DevOps, specifically within port logistics, manufacturing, or heavy industry. * **Stack Proficiency:** Expertise in Python, Java, or C\# for integration scripting; deep familiarity with ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) architectures. * **Linguistic Level:** Advanced C2\-level professional English is required for complex system documentation and cross\-border vendor coordination. * **Visual Documentation:** Proficient in using Loom to record system architecture walkthroughs and integration test results for executive review. **Work Context:** Scita Integrasi offers a high\-stakes environment in the heart of Sohar’s industrial corridor.
