Mentor teammates through code reviews, pair work, and technical guidance. **Senior Full‑Stack Engineer — Job Description** **Role summary** A Senior Full‑Stack Engineer builds and maintains end\-to\-end web applications—front end, back end, APIs, databases, and integrations. The role owns technical design, delivers high\-quality features, improves system reliability/performance, and mentors engineers. **Key responsibilities** * Design and develop features across the stack (UI, APIs, services, data layer). * Build scalable, secure services and integrate third\-party systems. * Write clean, tested code and maintain engineering best practices. * Own system behavior end\-to\-end: performance, reliability, observability, and error handling. * Create and maintain APIs, database schemas, and data access patterns. * Participate in architecture decisions, technical planning, and estimation. * Improve CI/CD, testing strategy, and development workflows. * Debug production issues; implement fixes and prevention via monitoring and good engineering. * Security\-minded development (auth, authorization, secure coding, secrets handling). * Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and technical standards. * Mentor teammates through code reviews, pair work, and technical guidance. **Required qualifications** * 5\+ years building production web applications as a full\-stack engineer (or equivalent). * Strong proficiency in at least one front\-end framework (React/Angular/Vue) and one back\-end stack (Node.js/Java/.NET/Python/Ruby—choose as appropriate). * Deep understanding of REST/GraphQL, authentication/authorization, and API design. * Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB) and query/performance tuning. * Experience with testing (unit/integration/e2e) and maintaining testable code. * Proficiency with cloud and/or infrastructure concepts (AWS/Azure/GCP, containers, etc.). * Experience with version control, code review workflows, and CI/CD pipelines. * Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working with logs/metrics/alerts. **Preferred qualifications** * Experience with TypeScript and modern front\-end engineering practices. * Experience with GraphQL, event\-driven architectures (queues/streams), or microservices. * Familiarity with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform). * Experience with observability tooling (logs, metrics, tracing). * Experience with accessibility, UX quality, and performance optimization (Core Web Vitals). * Strong security experience (OWASP, threat modeling basics, secure dependency practices). **Skills and competencies** * Ownership and product thinking; can drive features from design to production. * Ability to design with tradeoffs (performance vs. complexity, cost vs. scale). * Clear communication with both technical and non\-technical stakeholders. * Pragmatic engineering judgment and strong code quality habits. * Mentorship and leadership through influence.
