An **IT Support Specialist** is responsible for helping users solve technical issues and ensuring that an organization’s computer systems, networks, and devices run smoothly.
**Key Responsibilities**
* **Technical Support:** Assist employees or customers with hardware, software, and network problems (in person, phone, or remote).
* **Troubleshooting:** Diagnose and fix issues such as slow computers, system errors, internet connectivity, and login problems.
* **System Setup:** Install and configure computers, printers, software, and other IT equipment.
* **Maintenance:** Perform regular updates, backups, and system checks to prevent problems.
* **User Management:** Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
* **Documentation:** Record issues, solutions, and system changes for future reference.
* **Security Support:** Help maintain cybersecurity by updating antivirus software and educating users about safe practices.
**Skills Required**
