Conduct incident investigations and maintain HSE records ***Desired Candidate Profile*** * Should be familiar with all electrical hazards and controls. * Bachelors or engineering certificate, preferably in the electrical field. * **Certifications required: NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, Electrical Safety Rules, HSE Leadership, Incident Investigation, First Aid CPR AHA, Working at Height, Fire Warden, HSE Induction, and approved by DCRP.** * **7 years total work experience (5 years for Omanis). 2 years in electrical field preferred.** * Preferred approval with NEDC. * Proficient in Microsoft Office. **Preferred expertise in AutoCAD** as well. * Driving License Required. ***JOB SUMMARY/ RESPONSIBILITIES*** * Manage the HSE in Electrical Projects mainly in 33KV/11KV Sub\-Station / Primary substation activities and Overhead line construction activities and familiar with all Electrical Hazards and controls, Establishment, Implement and Maintenance of a HSE Management System. Record of all HSE statistics of project and maintain tracking. Supporting to all site personnel for problem related to HSE implementation. * To prepare HSSE plan, Quality Plan and HEMP (Risk Assessments) for projects. * Prepare weekly / Monthly site visit / Inspection schedule and monitor HSE compliance at site and review performance on new HSE activities and submitting the HSE performance measurement reports to Higher Management \& Client. * Maintain records of HSE meetings and ensure that routine HSE meetings takes place. * Maintain Audit log, NCR Log, Action Tracking Register, Default Log, Training record and incident log etc. Maintain all the supporting documents of close\-out always. * To create HSE Alert, HSE bulletin and conduct awareness session for the same. * Frequent site visit for auditing, inspection, training \& advising and maintaining training matrix. * To conduct Accident/ Incident investigation / Near Miss/ First Aid case as well as Follow up reports. * Maintain copies of all incident reports and provide a monthly report and all required documents to HSE Manager. * Actively involved in documentation, implementation \& audits of corrective actions. * To maintain the records of sub\-contractor and conduct frequent audits to ensure compliance. ***QUALIFICATION AND CERTIFICATION*** * Bachelors or Engineering certificate / preferable in electrical Field. * NEBOSH IGC , IOSH Managing Safely , Electrical Safety Rules, HSE Leadership , Incident Investigation , First Aid CPR AHA, working at height, Fire Warden, HSE Induction ETC. (DCRP APPROVED) * Must have 7 Years’ Experience preferably 2 years in Electrical projects, Substation, OHL preferably in Oman. * Approval with NAMA NEDC is preferred and added advantage. * Good in MS Office and AutoCAD is preferred. * Driving license mandatory preferable Oman. **Roles \& Responsibilities** * Manage HSE in electrical projects which include overhead \& underground line construction (LT, 11kV, and 33kV) as well as primary and sub\-station construction and maintenance. * Recording and tracking of all HSE statistics for projects. * Supporting site personnel for HSE implementation. * Preparing HSE Plan, Quality Plan, and HEMP (risk management) for projects. * Weekly site inspections to monitor HSE compliance.
