**ROLE SUMMARY**
We are seeking a highly skilled Instrument Engineer to join the maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for the calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems critical to plant operations.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Calibrate and maintain control systems, sensors, controllers, transmitters, flow meters, and pressure gauges.
* Troubleshoot and repair control loops, process measurement instruments, and field devices.
* Ensure all instrumentation systems meet required operational and safety standards.
* Lead the installation and commissioning of new instrumentation systems and upgrades.
* Interpret P\&ID diagrams, instrument data sheets, and calibration records.
* Coordinate with the operations team to ensure control systems align with plant process requirements.
* Prepare and maintain calibration records, maintenance logs, and technical reports.
* Enforce safety compliance including LOTO, PPE, and safe working procedures.
* Provide technical leadership to Instrument Technicians and Helpers.
* Respond to emergency call\-outs within six (6\) hours when required.
**QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE**
✓ Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Control Engineering, or a related field.
✓ Minimum 5 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance in a power plant or process industry.
✓ Proven experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA systems, and process instrumentation.
✓ Strong knowledge of calibration techniques for pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
✓ Familiarity with HART, PROFIBUS, or Modbus communication protocols is an advantage.
✓ Certifications in instrumentation safety and calibration preferred.
