Direct technical setup of streaming kits on-location **Live Streaming Tech Lead (Broadcast \& Real\-Time Media)** **Organization:** The Global Events Tech **Location:** Event City Office, Al Ghubrah, Muscat **Remuneration:** OMR 2,500 per month (Total Package) **The Transmission Objective** Based at the Event City Office in Al Ghubrah, The Global Events Tech is seeking a Live Streaming Tech Lead to spearhead the digital broadcast of high\-profile events across the Sultanate. This is a high\-pressure role for a technician who thrives in "live" environments where there is no room for error. You will be responsible for the end\-to\-end signal chain, ensuring that our global audiences experience flawless, high\-fidelity streaming from the heart of Muscat’s event hub. **Media DNA \& Impact Areas** * **Encoding \& Signal Governance:** Lead the configuration and management of hardware and software encoders (RTMP/HLS/SRT), ensuring optimal bitrates and resolution for diverse global network conditions. * **Network Path Optimization:** Oversee the deployment of dedicated broadcast bandwidth and redundant failover systems to guarantee 100% stream uptime during live executions in Al Ghubrah. * **Multi\-Platform Distribution:** Manage the simultaneous delivery of low\-latency streams to social media, private CDNs, and custom web portals, maintaining synchronized signal integrity. * **On\-Site Technical Leadership:** Direct the technical setup of streaming kits on\-location, coordinating with camera crews and audio engineers to ensure a broadcast\-quality master feed. **Candidate DNA** * **Field Experience:** 5\+ years of experience in live streaming, broadcast engineering, or media technology, specifically supporting large\-scale events or high\-traffic digital broadcasts. * **Technical Toolkit:** Expert knowledge of OBS Studio, vMix, or Wirecast; deep familiarity with CDN providers (Akamai, AWS CloudFront) and video protocols. * **Linguistic Standards:** Advanced C2\-level proficiency in professional English is required for high\-stakes coordination and vendor management. * **Visual Documentation:** Proficiency in using Loom to record stream\-flow diagrams and technical post\-mortems for executive and client review. **The Work Context** The Global Events Tech offers a dynamic, fast\-paced environment in the specialized Al Ghubrah Event City.
