To strengthen our finance and research team in Muscat, we are seeking a detail\-oriented **R\&D Finance Analyst** to oversee financial planning and analysis for research projects. Role Overview The **R\&D Finance Analyst** will be responsible for managing financial processes related to research and development activities, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision\-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and the ability to collaborate with scientists, engineers, and project managers. Key Responsibilities * Monitor and analyze financial performance of R\&D projects. * Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for research initiatives. * Collaborate with R\&D teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and resource allocation. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. * Support audits and provide documentation as required. * Develop financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership. * Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements. * Provide financial insights to support innovation and strategic growth. Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within R\&D or technology sectors. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. * Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment. * Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
