Adherence to information security standards and IT governance. **Senior Systems Analyst** **Purpose of the Role:** To analyze, develop, and enhance technical systems to ensure alignment with business requirements, delivering effective solutions that support operations and improve organizational performance in accordance with best practices in the Sultanate of Oman. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications. * Design systems and document processes and workflows. * Coordinate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of solutions. * Conduct system testing (UAT) and ensure operational readiness. * Analyze performance of existing systems and propose improvements. * Prepare system documentation and technical reports. * Provide user support and resolve complex technical issues. * Ensure integration among various systems within the organization. * Monitor system updates and emerging technologies. * Adhere to information security standards and IT governance. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. * Minimum 5–10 years of experience in systems analysis. * Experience with systems analysis tools such as UML and BPMN. * Solid knowledge of databases (SQL). * Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). **Required Skills:** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams. * Ability to manage requirements and prioritize effectively. * Organizational and time management skills. * Critical thinking and data-driven decision-making. **Work Environment:** * Office-based work or collaboration within technical teams. * Continuous collaboration with multiple internal teams. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Accuracy of requirements analysis and reduction of subsequent changes. * Quality of developed systems and user satisfaction. * Speed of technical issue resolution. * Improvement in system performance and reduction in failures. * Adherence to project timelines.
