**Key Responsibilities** * Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month\-end close processes. * Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. * Support budgeting and forecasting activities. * Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and internal controls. * Work closely with cross\-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance) on revenue recognition, transaction processing, and financial automation. * Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, including vendor management and invoicing processes. * Collaborate with external auditors and assist with audit preparation. * Utilize accounting software and fintech tools (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or proprietary systems) to optimize workflows. * Contribute to financial analysis, cost tracking, and KPI reporting. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus). * 2\+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a tech or fintech environment. * Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS). * Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables). * Experience with financial systems and ERP platforms is a plus. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to adapt in a fast\-paced, ever\-changing startup environment. * High attention to detail and accuracy. **Preferred Skills** * Familiarity with fintech products such as digital wallets, payment processing, or crypto assets. * Knowledge of financial regulations relevant to fintech (e.g., SOX, AML, PCI compliance). * Experience working with automation tools and APIs for financial data.
