Adjust oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures. Remove food from freezer and defrost in refrigerator. Ensure proper portioning and presentation. Maintain food records. Monitor quality and quantity of cooked food. Communicate need for additional support during peak periods. Inform chef of leftover ingredients for use in daily specials. Inform food and beverage service staff of special menus or sold-out items. Ensure food quality standards. Prepare food following recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists. Prepare cold food. Assist management in recruiting, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching team members; serve as a role model. Comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures. Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Anticipate and address guest service needs, communicate with others using clear and professional language. Listen and respond to the concerns of other employees, ensuring expected quality and standards are met. Perform duties involving standing, sitting, walking, bending, twisting, reaching above and below shoulder and knee level, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and moving objects. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. Perform other reasonable job duties as required by management. Preferred Qualifications Education: Technical, trade, or vocational school degree. Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
