Maintain strong relationships with customers and partners Freight Forwarding Manager **Campell Freight** **Location:** Muscat, Muscat Governorate, Oman **Work Location:** Muttrah Business Centre **Salary:** OMR 1,400 per month **Job Type:** Full\-time Job Summary Campell Freight is seeking an experienced and highly organized **Freight Forwarding Manager** to oversee daily freight forwarding and logistics operations. The successful candidate will manage international shipments, coordinate with carriers and logistics partners, ensure timely customs clearance and delivery, and maintain high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of freight forwarding, import/export procedures, transportation coordination, and supply chain operations, along with proven leadership and problem\-solving abilities. Key Responsibilities * Manage day\-to\-day freight forwarding operations, including air, sea, and road shipments. * Coordinate import, export, transit, and delivery activities from booking through final delivery. * Manage relationships with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, customs brokers, and overseas agents. * Monitor shipment schedules, cargo movements, delivery status, and potential delays. * Ensure shipping, customs, and commercial documentation is accurate and complete. * Coordinate customs clearance and ensure shipments comply with applicable regulations. * Obtain and negotiate freight rates and transportation service agreements. * Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. * Resolve shipment delays, damages, claims, documentation issues, and customer concerns. * Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide timely updates on shipment status. * Prepare quotations, freight proposals, and operational reports. * Monitor key performance indicators, delivery performance, costs, and customer satisfaction. * Supervise and support freight forwarding staff and allocate daily operational responsibilities. * Ensure company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards are followed. * Identify opportunities to improve freight processes, service quality, and profitability. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or transportation. * Previous experience in a supervisory or management position is preferred. * Strong understanding of import/export documentation and customs procedures. * Practical knowledge of air, sea, and road freight operations. * Experience working with carriers, customs brokers, freight agents, and logistics providers. * Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills. * Excellent organizational and problem\-solving abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics or ERP systems. * Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast\-paced environment. * Strong English communication skills; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
