The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. This role involves accurately diagnosing customer needs, **preparing service estimates**, and ensuring a seamless communication flow between technicians and clients. Candidates with dealership experience, automotive diagnostics skills, and a strong background in automotive service management will thrive in this position. The Service Advisor / Writer plays a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction while supporting the dealership’s service department operations. **Responsibilities** * Greet customers professionally and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns * **Write detailed service estimates based on vehicle diagnostics and technician input** * **Communicate effectively with customers regarding recommended repairs, costs, and timelines** * **Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, alignments, transmission repairs, diesel engine repairs, shocks \& struts, auto body repairs, air brake systems, and other automotive repairs** * Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repair orders and ensure timely completion of services * Maintain accurate documentation of all service work performed and parts used * Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process * Manage cash handling transactions and process payments efficiently * Stay informed about the latest automotive repair techniques and dealership promotions * Assist in vehicle inspections and diagnostics to recommend appropriate maintenance or repairs **Experience** * Prior dealership **experience is required** * Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures * **Experience with auto estimating software and service writing is essential** * Familiarity with automotive repair specialties including transmissions, oil changes, auto body repair, alignment, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks \& struts, brake repair, air brake systems, and automobile sales is advantageous * Proven ability to upsell services while maintaining integrity and customer trust * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients * Previous experience handling cash transactions is a plus * Automotive technician or mechanic experience can be beneficial for understanding technical aspects of repairs Job Type: Full\-time Pay: RO100\.000 \- RO200\.000 per month Work Location: In person
