Our spa specialists demonstrate initiative and deliver a broad range of services to ensure our guests’ experiences are truly memorable. Whether promoting spa services or retail sales, booking and confirming appointments, answering guest questions about services, registering guests, or processing payments, the spa specialist ensures every transaction feels like part of the overall experience. Regardless of your specific role, certain fundamentals are essential to success—the creation of a safe workplace, adherence to company policies and procedures, commitment to quality standards, and maintaining professional appearance, grooming, and communication. The spa specialist role requires being on your feet and moving (standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods); navigating sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces; operating reservation software (reading and visually verifying information); and performing hands-on tasks (moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds (4.5 kg) unassisted and up to 25 pounds (11.4 kg) with assistance; reaching overhead and below knee level, including bending, twisting, pulling, and squatting). It is essential that spa specialists perform all these tasks flawlessly (and any other reasonable duties assigned)—ensuring guest satisfaction and continued business success.
