Ensure equipment readiness and safety AV Sound System Storekeeper Department Warehouse / Operations Reports To Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager Job Summary The AV Sound System Storekeeper is responsible for managing the storage, handling, inventory, and distribution of audiovisual equipment, ensuring all items are maintained in excellent condition and are available for projects, events, and rentals. Key Responsibilities * Receive, inspect, and record incoming AV equipment, accessories, and materials. * Organize and maintain the warehouse for efficient storage and easy retrieval. * Prepare equipment according to project schedules and client requirements. * Check all equipment before dispatch and upon return from events. * Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or digital inventory systems. * Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or replacement requirements. * Ensure proper labeling and storage of microphones, speakers, amplifiers, mixers, LED screens, cables, lighting equipment, power distribution units, and accessories. * Coordinate with the Operations, Project, and Technical teams regarding equipment availability. * Keep records of equipment issued and returned by technicians. * Perform routine inspections and identify faulty equipment for repair or maintenance. * Ensure all equipment is packed, stored, and transported safely to prevent damage. * Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization. * Conduct periodic stock counts and assist with inventory audits. * Follow company health and safety procedures and warehouse best practices. * Assist in loading and unloading equipment for events when required. Required Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience as a Storekeeper or Warehouse Assistant, preferably in the AV, event production, or rental industry. * Basic knowledge of professional audiovisual and sound equipment. * Familiarity with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office. * Good organizational and record\-keeping skills. * Ability to lift and move AV equipment safely. * Strong attention to detail and time management skills. * Good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills * Knowledge of professional audio brands such as Yamaha, Shure, JBL, QSC, Allen \& Heath, Sennheiser, or similar. * Experience handling event or rental equipment. * Basic troubleshooting skills for AV equipment. * Ability to work under pressure and meet event deadlines. * A valid driving license is an advantage.
