Optimize content for search engines and ensure media compliance **Editorial Content Manager** **Company:** Manager Media Oman **Job Summary** Manager Media Oman is seeking a creative and strategic Editorial Content Manager to oversee content creation, editorial strategy, publishing workflows, and brand storytelling across our digital and print publications. Reporting directly to the Head of Media Operations, you will lead a team of staff writers, journalists, and freelance contributors to produce high\-impact, engaging content that aligns with corporate guidelines, search engine optimization (SEO) best practices, and Omani media standards. **Key Responsibilities** * **Editorial Strategy \& Planning:** Develop and execute the overall editorial calendar, publication schedule, and multi\-channel content strategy for digital portals, magazines, and corporate media assets. * **Content Creation \& Editing:** Write, edit, and proofread original long\-form articles, features, press releases, interview transcripts, and thought\-leadership pieces, maintaining immaculate grammar, tone, and brand consistency. * **Team \& Contributor Management:** Lead daily editorial meetings, assign stories to internal staff writers, manage external freelance journalists, and review submissions against strict quality benchmarks. * **SEO \& Content Optimization:** Collaborate with digital marketing and media teams to optimize online articles for search engines, drive organic reader traffic, and increase reader engagement across digital channels. * **Media Compliance \& Ethics:** Ensure all published materials adhere to Omani Ministry of Information guidelines, copyright laws, media ethics, and journalism standards across the GCC region. * **Performance Analytics:** Track editorial metrics—including page views, time on page, audience engagement, and distribution reach—using Google Analytics to refine future content strategies. **Qualifications \& Requirements** * **Experience:** 5\+ years of progressive experience in journalism, publishing, corporate communications, or digital media editing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior editorial role in Oman or the GCC region. * **Editorial Expertise:** Exceptional line\-editing, copy\-editing, interviewing, story structure, and headlinewriting skills. * **Technical Proficiency:** Hands\-on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, SEO keyword tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs), and Google Analytics (GA4\). * **Regulatory Knowledge:** Solid understanding of Omani publishing laws, regional cultural nuances, and media landscape dynamics. * **Education:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English Literature, Media Studies, or a related field. * **Languages:** Professional fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is required. **Benefits** * Competitive tax\-free salary package * Comprehensive private medical and health insurance coverage for employee and dependents * Annual return airfare allowance to home country * End\-of\-service gratuity in accordance with Oman Labor Law * Flexible hybrid work schedule and professional development allowances الراتب المدفوع: ﷼١٬٤٥٠٫٠٠٠ لكل شهر موقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
