Position : **HOD Academic Department** Opening position :**One (1\) Omani / non\-Omani** Educational \& other Qualification :· **Must be Ph.D. or Master holder in Automotive Engineering, Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering with Automotive.** · **Minimum of 5 yrs. of teaching experience in Higher Education** **Working in industry is an advantage.** Job Description**:** · Ensure to meet its college’s strategic aims with regards to students’ numbers and performance targets. · Ensure that the activities of the Department are undertaken in accordance with the governance, policy and regulatory frameworks of the College. · Implement the College plans, HSE, QA, policies and programmes related to the department. · Identify the requirements and specifications of human and physical resources, for the department. · Safeguard and maintain the property and equipment of the department. · Manage all the operation aspects of the department. · To teach both theory and practical session with the required number of hours. · To perform other tasks related to the job as specified in the College Manual. **Skills Required** · Must be fluent in English both written and oral communication. · Handling people is an advantage.
