Opportunities for skills development and technical training Security Systems Specialist **Company:** Pogotowie Zamkowe **Location:** Muscat, Muscat Governorate, Oman **Area:** Madinat Qaboos **Salary:** OMR 1,050 per month **Job Type:** Full\-time Job Overview Pogotowie Zamkowe is seeking a technically skilled **Security Systems Specialist** to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic security and surveillance systems. The successful candidate will support the reliable operation of CCTV, access control, alarm, monitoring, and other integrated security technologies while working closely with customers, technical teams, and vendors. Key Responsibilities * Install, configure, test, and maintain electronic security systems and equipment. * Support CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, alarm, intercom, and security monitoring systems. * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and system\-integration issues. * Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and system performance checks. * Configure security cameras, recording systems, access\-control devices, sensors, controllers, and related equipment. * Integrate security systems with networks, servers, monitoring platforms, and building\-management systems where required. * Monitor system performance and respond to technical faults and service requests. * Perform system upgrades, firmware updates, configuration changes, and equipment replacements. * Prepare technical documentation, system diagrams, maintenance records, and service reports. * Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and customers to resolve technical issues. * Provide technical guidance and basic user training on security system operation. * Support commissioning and testing of newly installed security systems. * Ensure security systems are configured according to approved requirements and applicable standards. * Maintain appropriate access controls and follow cybersecurity and data\-protection practices. * Respond to urgent technical issues and participate in on\-call support when required. Qualifications * Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related technical field. * Proven experience installing, maintaining, or supporting electronic security systems. * Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, intercoms, and security monitoring technologies. * Understanding of IP networking, TCP/IP, switches, routers, and network\-connected security devices. * Experience with security\-system configuration and troubleshooting. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Good communication and customer\-service abilities. * Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system documentation. * Relevant security systems or networking certifications are an advantage. * Professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
