Dynamic and collaborative work environment Location: Oman Employment Type: Full\-Time **Al Bany International Oman** seeking an experienced and proactive **Senior MEP Engineer** to support the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of major construction and real estate projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, coordinating document submissions, and ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with contractual milestones and project objectives. **Key Responsibilities** * Review and approve MEP design documents, technical submissions, and engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes. * Verify that contractor design drawings and Basis of Design documents meet technical specifications and international standards. * Review Concept, Schematic, and Detailed Design packages across all MEP disciplines. * Evaluate and approve material submittals, equipment specifications, supplier pre\- qualification documents, and critical MEP shop drawings. * Respond to technical queries (RFIs) and provide timely engineering support throughout the design and construction phases. * Assess design modifications and value engineering proposals, ensuring technical integrity and project objectives are maintained. * Conduct design quality audits and technical assurance reviews to identify performance gaps and improve project delivery. * Monitor contractor performance to ensure timely submission and review of technical documentation in accordance with project schedules. * Identify critical MEP design and construction documents requiring management review and approval. * Coordinate engineering documentation using project collaboration platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, or equivalent systems. * Collaborate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution. **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. * Professional certification from a recognized electrical authority is preferred. * Minimum **10 years of experience** in MEP engineering for major building, real estate, or infrastructure projects. * At least **8 years of experience** working on large\-scale projects within the Middle East. * Strong knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection, ELV, Telecom, Control \& Automation, and Security Systems. * Thorough understanding of international engineering codes and standards, including IBC, BS, and NFPA.
