Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain teams Job Overview Tanay Logistics is seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Operations Director to lead and optimize end\-to\-end supply chain operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing logistics, procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution while ensuring operational efficiency, cost optimization, and exceptional service delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with cross\-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that support the company's operational and business objectives. Key Responsibilities * Lead and oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including logistics, warehousing, transportation, procurement, and inventory management. * Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. * Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and key stakeholders. * Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations. * Manage budgets, operational planning, and resource allocation. * Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain teams to achieve high performance and professional growth. * Collaborate with senior leadership to align supply chain initiatives with organizational goals. * Identify and mitigate operational risks while maintaining business continuity. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management, including senior leadership experience. * Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement, inventory control, transportation, and warehouse operations. * Demonstrated ability to lead cross\-functional teams and manage large\-scale operations. * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and decision\-making skills. * Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. * Proficiency in ERP systems, supply chain management software, and Microsoft Office applications. * Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage. Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. * Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or APICS are an advantage. * Experience managing supply chain operations within the logistics or transportation industry.
