Job Summary: Designing and analyzing acoustic and noise control systems to ensure comfortable acoustic environments compliant with engineering and environmental standards in the Sultanate of Oman. Providing technical consultations to clients on improving sound quality **Acoustics Engineer** **Purpose of the Role:** Designing and analyzing acoustic and noise control systems to ensure comfortable acoustic environments compliant with engineering and environmental standards in the Sultanate of Oman. **Key Responsibilities:** * Conducting acoustic measurement and analysis studies for projects (Noise \& Vibration Analysis). * Designing acoustic insulation and noise control solutions for buildings and industrial facilities. * Preparing acoustic impact assessment reports and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. * Using acoustic simulation software to analyze performance (e.g., EASE, CadnaA). * Collaborating with architectural and mechanical engineering teams to ensure design integration. * Supervising on-site implementation of acoustic insulation works. * Providing technical consultations to clients on improving sound quality. * Testing acoustic systems and verifying compliance with specifications. * Keeping abreast of international and local acoustics standards. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Acoustics, Mechanical, or equivalent). * Minimum 3–7 years of experience in acoustics. * Proficiency in acoustic analysis and simulation software. * Familiarity with noise and vibration standards (ISO, OSHA, or equivalent). **Required Skills:** * Strong analytical skills in acoustics and vibration. * Ability to solve complex technical problems. * Effective communication and teamwork skills. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work across diverse site locations. **Work Environment:** * Office-based work in engineering offices and project sites. * May require working in industrial or construction sites. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Level of noise reduction and sound quality improvement. * Compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. * Quality of implemented acoustic designs. * Client satisfaction. * Accuracy of acoustic reports and analyses.
