Assist in diagnosing complex electrical faults and ensure site safety **ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN** **ROLE SUMMARY** Manah Power Company is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to carry out hands\-on maintenance and repair of electrical systems. The candidate will work under the supervision of an Electrical Engineer to keep all electrical systems running reliably. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical equipment including switchgear, control panels, transformers, and wiring. * Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on electrical systems and components. * Replace defective parts, cables, and electrical components as directed. * Calibrate electrical instruments and devices to ensure safe and accurate operation. * Implement LOTO procedures before working on electrical systems. * Assist the Electrical Engineer in diagnosing complex electrical faults. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, findings, and corrective actions. * Guide Electrical Helpers in routine tasks and ensure work site safety. * Respond promptly to plant electrical breakdowns and emergency situations. **QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE** ✓ Diploma or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. ✓ Minimum 5 years of practical experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial or power plant setting. ✓ Hands\-on experience with switchgear, MCC, control panels, motors, and transformers. ✓ Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams. ✓ Familiarity with LOTO, PPE, and general electrical safety standards.
