Opportunity to learn and gain experience in an industrial facility **MECHANICAL HELPER** **ROLE SUMMARY** We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Mechanical Helper to assist the mechanical maintenance team. The candidate will provide physical and technical support during maintenance activities. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Assist Mechanical Engineers and Technicians during maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks. * Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from work sites as required. * Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, greasing, tightening bolts, and replacing filters. * Support in the dismantling and reassembly of mechanical components under supervision. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. * Follow all safety instructions and guidelines including LOTO, PPE, and confined space procedures. * Transport spare parts and consumables between storage areas and work sites. * Report any observed hazards or equipment issues to the supervising technician or engineer. **QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE** ✓ Secondary school certificate or vocational training in mechanical maintenance preferred. ✓ Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and workshop safety. ✓ Physically fit to perform manual tasks in an industrial environment. ✓ Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors. ✓ Prior experience in a power plant or industrial facility is an advantage.
