Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams **Quantity Surveyor (QS)** **Position:** Quantity Surveyor **Location:** Muscat **Employment Type:** Full\-time **Department:** Construction / Commercial **Role Overview** We are seeking an experienced **Quantity Surveyor (QS)** to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, contract administration, and financial control across multiple projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead junior QS staff while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. **Key Responsibilities** · Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents. · Monitor project budgets and provide accurate financial forecasts. · Draft, review, and manage contracts in line with company policies. · Handle variations, claims, and contractual disputes. · Source suppliers and subcontractors, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements. · Ensure timely procurement of materials and services within budget. · Track project expenditures and certify interim and final payments. · Conduct value engineering to optimize costs without compromising quality. · Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory compliance. · Ensure adherence to local construction laws and company standards. · Mentor junior QS staff and provide guidance on best practices. · Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams. **Qualifications \& Skills** · Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. · Minimum **8 years of QS experience**. · Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and local construction regulations. · Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Candy, CostX, Excel). · Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. · Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. **We Offer** · Competitive salary package with benefits. · Opportunities for career growth and professional development. · Exposure to large\-scale projects and innovative construction practices. · Collaborative and supportive work environment.
