Job Summary: Responsible for analyzing and developing industrial processes to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality in the Sultanate of Oman. Collaborating with various departments to ensure process integration Senior Industrial Engineer **Purpose of the Role:** To analyze and develop industrial processes aimed at improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality, while ensuring optimal resource utilization according to industry standards in the Sultanate of Oman. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze operational processes and procedures and identify improvement opportunities. * Design and develop work systems to increase productivity and reduce waste. * Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. * Conduct time-and-motion studies and workflow analysis. * Monitor operational performance and define key performance indicators (KPIs). * Optimize resource utilization (labor, equipment, materials). * Participate in production capacity planning and inventory management. * Prepare analytical reports and present recommendations to senior management. * Collaborate with various departments to ensure process integration. * Ensure compliance with quality and occupational safety standards. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent. * Minimum 7–12 years of experience in industrial engineering or process improvement. * Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) (preferred). * Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis. * Experience using process analysis tools such as Value Stream Mapping. **Required Skills:** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent planning and organizational skills. * Ability to manage projects and drive continuous improvement. * Effective communication and teamwork skills. * Data-driven decision-making capability. **Work Environment:** * Work takes place in factories, production environments, or engineering offices. * Field visits to production sites may be required. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Improved productivity and reduced operational costs. * Reduced waste and scrap rates. * Improved production cycle time. * Process and product quality. * Achievement of continuous improvement objectives.
