Job Summary: Supervise fabric manufacturing operations to ensure the highest levels of quality and efficiency, optimize processes, and develop products to meet industry standards and market demands. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing operations 2. Improve production efficiency and reduce waste and costs 3. Develop new textile products and enhance existing products Senior Textile Engineer **Purpose of the Role:** To supervise fabric manufacturing operations and ensure the achievement of the highest levels of quality and production efficiency, while optimizing processes and developing products in alignment with industry standards and market requirements in the Sultanate of Oman. **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Supervise spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing operations. * Improve production efficiency and reduce waste and costs. * Develop new textile products and enhance existing products. * Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished products. * Analyze technical issues and implement effective solutions. * Apply international quality standards and ensure compliance. * Manage technical teams and train engineers and technicians. * Coordinate with procurement and sales departments to ensure customer requirements are met. * Oversee equipment maintenance and performance improvement. * Prepare technical and production reports for senior management. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. * Minimum 7–12 years of experience in the textile industry. * Advanced knowledge of spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing processes. * Experience using quality management systems such as ISO. * Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (preferred). **Required Skills:** * Strong leadership and management skills. * High capability in analyzing technical problems. * Organizational and time management skills. * Effective communication and teamwork skills. * Innovative thinking and process improvement capabilities. **Work Environment:** * Work in textile factories and production environments. * Exposure to noise and heat depending on production line conditions. * Shift work may be required. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Final product quality and defect rate. * Production efficiency and waste reduction. * Adherence to production schedules. * Equipment performance improvement and reduction in breakdowns. * Customer satisfaction and delivery quality.
