This permanent, full\-time position operates directly out of our high\-volume distribution and administrative headquarters located inside the **Sohar Port Freezone (Sohar 327\)**. Compensation Framework Onyx Supply Chain Ltd provides a premium, tax\-free executive contract valued at **OMR 1,820 per month**. This comprehensive monthly allocation is fully inclusive of all local living provisions, housing allowances, health benefits, and regional transit subsidies. Core Areas of Operational Accountability * **Customs \& Trade Governance:** Direct, review, and verify all international shipping documentation, import/export declarations, and bill of lading structures to ensure total alignment with Royal Oman Police (ROP) Customs regulations and GCC common customs laws. * **Operational Risk Auditing:** Formulate and execute comprehensive weekly and monthly physical and systemic compliance audits across our Freezone warehousing complexes, verifying inventory records, hazardous material storage protocols, and supply chain security footprints. * **Tariff \& Incoterm Optimization:** Analyze landed cost structures, evaluate international trade agreements, and enforce correct Incoterms 2020 definitions across all corporate vendor contracts to mitigate legal liabilities and eliminate unnecessary tariff exposure. * **Regulatory Liaison:** Act as the primary, authoritative point of contact for external audits conducted by the Sohar Port Freezone Authority, Ministry of Commerce, Industry \& Investment Promotion, and environmental agencies. * **Process Standardization:** Author, implement, and update robust standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding supply chain security, tracking mechanisms, and localized clearing workflows to maintain seamless customs throughput. Required Professional Profile To succeed within this high\-vigilance oversight role, candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in logistics compliance, maritime trade auditing, or senior customs clearance management within a major freezone environment, international freight forwarding firm, or industrial logistics hub. From an academic perspective, a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Maritime Logistics, International Trade Law, or Business Administration is mandatory. Holding an active professional credential, such as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or a recognized International Trade Specialist certification, will significantly elevate an application. Technically, the role requires deep working familiarity with automated customs systems (such as Bayan), international maritime security protocols (ISPS code), and advanced data auditing techniques utilizing enterprise ERP platforms like SAP or Oracle.
