Summary: Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the regulatory compliance framework for the Sumu open banking platform in alignment with CBO regulations. Highlights: 1. Develop and monitor regulatory compliance framework 2. Ensure complete adherence to licensing obligations and AML/CTF 3. Foster a culture of compliance and serve as primary regulatory contact he Compliance Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the regulatory compliance framework of the Sumu open banking Platform in full alignment with the Central Bank of OmanOpen Banking Regulatory Framework. This encompasses ensuring complete adherence to licensing obligations for Account Information Service Providers (AISP) and Payment Initiation Service Providers (PISP), AML/CTF requirements under Royal Decree No. 30/2016, the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL, February 2024\), the National Payment Systems Law (NPSL, Royal Decree No. 08/2018\), the CBO Financial Consumer Protection Regulatory Framework (FCPRF), and all applicable governance, cybersecurity, and data standards issued by the Central Bank of Oman.The role holder shall foster a culture of compliance throughout the organisation, ensure the Fit and Proper criteria applicable to key personnel are met and maintained, and serve as the primary point of accountability for all regulatory interactions with the Central Bank of Oman.
