Provide excellent customer service for travel needs Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Travel Reservation Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling domestic and international ticketing inquiries, providing excellent customer service, and possessing proficiency in various Computer Reservation Systems (CRS). As a Travel Reservation Agent, you will play a pivotal role in assisting customers with their travel needs, ensuring their bookings are accurate, and providing valuable information regarding airline tickets and travel insurances. Roles and Responsibilities: · Handle domestic and international ticketing inquiries and reservations. · Provide assistance to customers via phone/email/walk\-ins/corporates/in\-house inquiries regarding airline tickets and travel insurances. · Suggest seat assignments and answer inquiries about flight schedules and fares for one\-way, return, and connecting flight journeys. · Manage the front desk to attend to walk\-in customers. · Issue group tickets efficiently and accurately. · Perform cancellations, refunds, and changes in reservations as required by the customer, adhering to company policies. · Verify reservations by phone and ensure accuracy of fares. · Inform customers about any flight reschedules, delays, reporting times, or other relevant updates. · Promote and sell travel insurance products to customers. · Educate customers about the refund policy of tickets, including no\-show, canceled bookings, or fare differences. **CRS Knowledge:** ABACUS: Proficient in Abacus automated ticketing. Skilled in using masks for fare editing. Deep knowledge of re\-issuing tickets. Competence in hotel booking within the Abacus system. GALILEO: Familiarity with Galileo's basic functionality and documentation. Ability to re\-issue Galileo global fares and tickets. Knowledge of Galileo's features for efficient ticketing. AMADEUS: Proficiency in Amadeus reservation and automated ticketing. Deep knowledge of re\-issuing tickets within the Amadeus system. Competence in utilizing Amadeus for various travel\-related tasks. SABRE: Proficiency in Sabre reservation and automated ticketing. Knowledge of re\-issuing tickets using the Sabre system. Competence in utilizing Sabre for reservations and ticketing processes. Qualifications: · Previous experience as a Travel Reservation Agent or in a similar role is preferred. · Excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. · Knowledge of domestic and international travel regulations and policies. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Attention to detail and accuracy in ticketing and reservation processes. · Ability to adapt to different CRS platforms and software. · Problem\-solving abilities to handle customer inquiries and issues effectively. · High school diploma or equivalent; additional travel\-related certifications are a plus.
