A **Hotel Receptionist** (also called a Front Desk Clerk) is the first point of contact for guests at a hotel. This role focuses on customer service, organization, and ensuring a smooth check\-in and stay experience.
**Main Responsibilities**
* **Greeting guests** as they arrive and making them feel welcome
* **Checking guests in and out** using booking systems
* **Handling reservations**, cancellations, and room assignments
* **Answering phone calls and emails** about bookings or inquiries
* **Providing information** about hotel services, local attractions, and directions
* **Processing payments** (cash, card, or online transactions)
* **Resolving guest complaints** quickly and professionally
* **Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance** to ensure rooms are ready
