Opportunities for technical development and career advancement Systems Integration Specialist **Company:** Onsd Tsslushi **Location:** Al Mouj Business Park, Muscat, Muscat Governorate, Oman **Salary:** OMR 2,150 per month **Job Type:** Full\-time Job Summary Onsd Tsslushi is seeking an experienced **Systems Integration Specialist** to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between business applications, databases, APIs, and other technology platforms. The successful candidate will help ensure reliable data exchange and seamless communication between systems while supporting integration projects from requirements analysis through testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Typical systems integration roles involve APIs, middleware, data interfaces, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical documentation. Key Responsibilities * Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into integration solutions. * Design, develop, and implement integrations between applications, databases, cloud services, and third\-party platforms. * Develop and maintain APIs, middleware, web services, data interfaces, and automated workflows. * Configure and manage integration platforms and supporting technologies. * Work with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, webhooks, and other data\-exchange technologies. * Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and synchronization between connected systems. * Monitor integration processes and identify performance, connectivity, or data\-quality issues. * Troubleshoot integration failures and coordinate corrective actions with development and infrastructure teams. * Conduct integration, functional, regression, and performance testing before production deployment. * Support system deployments, upgrades, migrations, and post\-implementation activities. * Ensure data integrity, availability, security, and compliance across integrated systems. * Maintain detailed technical documentation covering interfaces, workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. * Collaborate with software developers, database administrators, network teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. * Identify opportunities to improve system interoperability, automation, reliability, and operational efficiency. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. * 3–5 years of experience in systems integration, application integration, middleware, API development, or a similar position. * Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and web services. * Experience with integration platforms or middleware such as MuleSoft, Oracle Integration, SAP integration tools, Microsoft Azure Integration Services, or similar technologies. * Knowledge of SQL and relational databases. * Understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure data exchange. * Experience with system testing, troubleshooting, monitoring, and deployment processes. * Familiarity with cloud and hybrid integration environments is an advantage. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities. * Excellent communication and documentation skills.
