SITE MANAGER (SCADA ENGINEER)

Summary: Seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer to supervise site activities, manage project schedules, and implement SCADA designs while ensuring system compliance and documentation. Highlights: 1. Lead and coordinate onsite engineering teams and sub-contractors. 2. Design and implement SCADA systems, including HMI graphics and alarm management. 3. Program RTUs and PLCs for remote asset monitoring and control. **JOB DESCRIPTION – SITE MANAGER (SCADA ENGINEER)** **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervision: Coordinate and manage onsite Engineers, Technicians, and Sub\-contractors. * Planning: Monitor project schedules, track milestones, and manage resource allocation. * Communication: Liaise with client engineers on site and contract manager regarding progress reports. * Tools \& Materials: Arrange and manage tools, equipment, and materials to ensure smooth execution of all site activities. * SCADA Design \& Implementation: SCADA configuration, including HMI graphics, dashboard design, history and alarm management. * Programming \& Configuration: Program RTUs and PLCs including I/O Mapping to monitor and control remote assets (Wells, Manifolds, Tanks, Solar Systems etc.). * Communication \& Protocols: Configure communication links (Radio, GSM/4G/5G) using industrial protocols like Modbus Serial/TCP, DNP3 etc. * System Compliance: Ensure all control systems comply with safety regulations and operational standards and report any safety/operational concerns to the Site Manager. * Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and configurations for RTU/SCADA. * HSSE Compliance: Ensure proper use of PPE at all times and comply with the necessary OPAL regulations for work in Oil \& Gas Environments. * **Required Skills \& Qualifications:** * **Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.** * Technical Expertise: Sound knowledge and hands\-on experience with RTUs, PLCs and SCADA. * Protocols: Proficient in Industrial Communication Protocols such as Modbus \& TCP/IP, DNP3 etc. * Experience: Minimum 7 \- 8 years of experience in industrial automation, oil \& gas automation, or field service. * **Compensation** * Gross Salary – OMR 1000\- 1,100/\- * Work Schedule – 3 Months Work at Site / 1 Month Leave * Air Ticket – Every 3 Months (provided by company) * Food, Transport \& Accommodation at Site covered by Company Pay: RO1,000\.000 \- RO1,100\.000 per month Work Location: In person
