SYSTEM** **ADMINISTRATOR** **FOR POLYGLOT TECHNOLOGIES, OMAN.** **SR. SYSTEM** **ADMINISTRATOR** **\-** **Windows (Email, AD, SQL, etc.)** **Job Summary** Responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership and management in order to provide a high level of service to the customers of the department. **Qualification, Experience and Skills Requirements** * BE / B. Tech/ MCA/ MSc (Computer Science) from a recognized University with at least 8 years of experience in the area of Microsoft Infrastructure Operations and Planning. * Extensive knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems, including Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012\. * Knowledge of E\-mail archiving solutions and management. * Knowledge of VBScript, Shell Script for Active Directory \& Microsoft Exchange. * In depth knowledge of DNS and specially PUBLIC DNS servers. * Good experience in Enterprise backup solutions like EMC Networker with Data Domain, HP Data Protector etc. * Fair Knowledge of Black Berry Servers. * Fair knowledge of File servers and complex shares permission handling. * Hands on windows clusters, including Exchange, Fileserver and print clusters. * In depth knowledge of proxy servers including TMG servers in load balanced mode. Capable of delivering innovating ideas and Proactive approach for service delivery to end users with optimal performance by complying security demands and users usage convenience. * Capable of defining daily, weekly and Monthly tasks with respect to their severity. Considerable skills of Office 365\. * Disaster recovery skills on every level for exchange for example from service failure to server failure which can further include database recovery and proactively safe guard databases in case of backup failure. **Salary : 900/ OMR \- per month.( Total Inclusive Package)** **Allowances offered : Leave pay, Air tickets allowance, Medical facilities and Gratuity shall be provided as per law.** **Contract Period : Initially for a year and renewable.** Shortlisting is in progress.
