Ensure design compliance with international standards and local requirements * Lead electrical design, load flow, short circuit, and protection studies for Solar, BESS and Wind projects. * Design and review of MV/LV electrical systems, substations (33kV–400kV), switchgear, transformers, cables, lighting, lightning and earthing systems. * Prepare and review single\-line diagrams (SLDs), GA drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. * Review grid impact studies, grid code compliance analysis, and reactive power/voltage control design for India \& Middle East utilities. * Evaluate and select inverters, switchgear, transformers, cables, reactive power compensation systems, and protection relays for Solar \& Wind projects. * Review Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) products specifications, selection and design optimization * Review EPC contractor drawings and ensure design compliance with IEC/IEEE standards and local authority requirements (CERC, DEWA, SEC, HCIS, etc.). * Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site inspections for electrical equipment. * Provide technical overview, monitor and resolve site execution issues * Conduct independent QA/QC checks and review * Represent and lead developers’ companies in testing \& commissioning activities of PV and BESS as well as Wind projects. * Ensure adherence to safety standards (NFPA, OSHA, IEC) during design and construction **Job Snapshot** Updated Date 20\-01\-2026 Job ID Job ID3751 Department Operations \& Maintenance Location Muscat, Muscat, Oman Employee Group Contract
