Drive selection and optimization of cutting-edge technologies Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Maks Global Service — Muscat, Oman Operational Hub: Al Seeb Street Corridor Consolidated Remuneration: OMR 3,700 monthly The Mission: Maks Global Service is a diversified enterprise solutions provider leading large\-scale system integrations, enterprise technology deployment, and managed service operations across the Sultanate. Operating from our central office on Al Seeb Street, we are appointing a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to serve as the principal visionary and technical leader for our entire technological ecosystem. In this executive\-track role, you will take absolute ownership of our software architecture, core network infrastructure, cloud engineering pipelines, and product development roadmaps, ensuring our technical capabilities align directly with aggressive regional market expansion goals. Primary Directives: * Architect and govern the long\-term enterprise technology strategy, transforming business objectives into highly scalable, robust technical frameworks. * Lead, mentor, and expand a high\-performing department of software engineers, cloud architects, system administrators, and cybersecurity specialists. * Drive the selection, deployment, and optimization of cutting\-edge technologies, managing vendor relations, tech stack architecture, and infrastructure budget allocations. * Establish rigid security protocols, data governance policies, and disaster recovery blueprints to safeguard corporate assets and multi\-tenant customer environments. * Partner with executive leadership to evaluate emerging tech trends, artificial intelligence integrations, and high\-value technical service offerings. The Criteria: * 12 to 16 years of progressive engineering and technical management experience, with a definitive track record of serving in a formal CTO, VP of Engineering, or Director of Technology capacity. * Authoritative expertise in cloud computing frameworks, modern enterprise software architectures, agile methodologies, and large\-scale project delivery. * Proven experience managing extensive hardware/software infrastructure footprints, complex network operations, and enterprise data security systems. * A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline; a Master’s degree or MBA is highly advantageous.
