Work in a forward-thinking organization focused on innovation **Big Data Architect** Calico CZ Salalah – Salalah, Oman Location: Raysut Zone 2 Salary: OMR 3,000 per month Calico CZ Salalah is seeking an innovative and experienced Big Data Architect to join our technology team in Salalah, Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing scalable big data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational efficiency across the organization. Key responsibilities include architecting data platforms and pipelines, managing large\-scale structured and unstructured data systems, optimizing data storage and processing performance, and ensuring data security and integrity. The Big Data Architect will collaborate with cross\-functional teams to develop advanced analytics solutions, support data\-driven decision\-making, and implement modern data technologies and cloud\-based infrastructure. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, with substantial experience in big data architecture and enterprise data management. Strong knowledge of technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, and data integration tools is highly preferred. Experience in data governance, machine learning environments, and system scalability is considered an advantage. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical thinking, technical leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex data environments and support strategic digital transformation initiatives.
