Ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance About the Role We are seeking a highly competent and detail\-oriented **Assistant Manager Finance** to join us in Muscat, Oman. This is a unique opportunity to become the primary finance professional within the holding entity, supporting the Board of Directors, Group CFO, and senior leadership team. The successful candidate will independently manage the complete finance function of the holding company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, taxation, audit coordination, and strategic financial support. This role requires exceptional technical expertise, professional maturity, confidentiality, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Accounting \& Financial Management * Manage the complete accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings with accuracy and within strict reporting timelines. * Maintain fixed asset registers, investment schedules, and inter\-company accounting records. * Ensure accuracy of accounting records and support group consolidation requirements. * Monitor and reconcile inter\-company transactions and balances. Financial Reporting * Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS. * Develop monthly management reports including Profit \& Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, and variance analysis. * Prepare Board\-ready financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations. * Support senior management by providing timely financial analysis and business insights. * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Taxation \& Regulatory Compliance * Handle Corporate Tax, VAT, and other statutory compliance requirements. * Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. * Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and regulatory filings. * Stay updated with Oman Tax Authority regulations and applicable financial reporting standards. * Maintain statutory records and compliance documentation. Banking \& Treasury * Monitor company bank accounts and cash flow. * Process payment approvals and maintain proper banking documentation. * Track investments, dividends, and inter\-company funding activities. * Support treasury management and cash planning initiatives. Audit \& Governance * Act as the primary finance contact for external audits. * Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation. * Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and corporate governance standards. * Support group\-level audit requirements whenever required. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline. * MBA (Finance), M.Com, CA Inter, ACCA (Part Qualified), CPA (Part Qualified), or equivalent professional qualification preferred. * 7–15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience. * Prior experience within a Holding Company, Group Finance, or multi\-entity organization will be highly preferred. * GCC experience, particularly Oman, will be an added advantage. Required Technical Skills * Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards. * Hands\-on experience managing complete accounting operations. * Experience in financial statement preparation and consolidation. * Knowledge of Corporate Tax, VAT, and statutory compliance within the GCC. * Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent. * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, financial analysis, and reporting. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving capabilities.
