Our Salalah office plays a central role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) excellence across complex projects in the GCC. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced **HSE Director Engineer** to lead enterprise\-wide HSE initiatives, oversee compliance frameworks, and align safety strategies with organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver robust HSE programs that protect people, assets, and the environment. Key Responsibilities * **HSE Strategy**: Define and implement enterprise\-wide HSE frameworks. * **Risk Management**: Identify safety and environmental risks and propose mitigation strategies. * **Compliance Oversight**: Ensure adherence to GCC regulations, ISO standards, and industry\-specific safety requirements. * **Incident Response**: Lead investigations of safety incidents and coordinate corrective actions. * **Innovation Leadership**: Drive adoption of digital HSE tools, predictive analytics, and smart monitoring systems. * **Collaboration**: Partner with executives, engineers, and regulators to align HSE initiatives with business objectives. * **Team Leadership**: Mentor HSE professionals and foster a culture of accountability and resilience. Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health \& Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. * 12\+ years of HSE experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. * Strong knowledge of **HSE frameworks** and GCC regulatory environments. * Expertise in risk assessment, safety audits, and environmental management systems. * Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic problem\-solving skills. * Experience in multinational or regional engineering organizations preferred.
