Summary: This role involves preparing artwork for print, operating and maintaining printing machines, and ensuring quality control throughout the printing process. Highlights: 1. Prepare and adjust print-ready artwork 2. Set up and calibrate printing machines 3. Inspect finished prints for quality and accuracy THE IDEAL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE ABILITIES TO HANDLE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare and adjust print\-ready artwork according to job specifications. * Ensure correct color profiles, resolution, fonts, and image quality. * Handle file conversions (PDF, EPS, TIFF) for different printing needs. * Set up and calibrate printing machines for each job. * Perform test prints and approve samples before full production. * Manage multiple print jobs and prioritize tasks based on deadlines. * Inspect finished prints for defects, alignment, and color accuracy. * Maintain inventory of printing materials (paper, ink, plates, etc.). * Communicate with clients or supervisors regarding design corrections. * Follow standard operating procedures and production guidelines. * Keep records of completed jobs and machine performance. * Ensure proper storage and handling of printed materials. * Assist in plate making and prepress processes for offset printing. * Stay updated with new printing technologies and design trends. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
