**Role summary**
An IT Project Manager plans, coordinates, and delivers technology projects on time, within scope and budget. The role manages stakeholders, builds project plans, drives delivery through teams/vendors, and ensures quality, risk management, and change control.
**Key responsibilities**
* Lead end\-to\-end project delivery (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).
* Build and maintain project plans: scope, timeline, milestones, resourcing, and dependencies.
* Define and manage project requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
* Coordinate cross\-functional teams (engineering, infrastructure, security, QA, operations) and vendors.
* Manage budgets and forecasts; track costs and ensure financial control.
* Drive project governance: status reporting, steering updates, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
* Manage risks, issues, and change requests; maintain change control and document impacts.
* Ensure deliverables meet quality standards (test coordination, acceptance, sign\-offs).
* Oversee procurement/vendor activities as needed (contracts, SOW tracking, delivery assurance).
* Ensure documentation is maintained (project charters, plans, meeting notes, handover materials).
* Facilitate communication and stakeholder management; resolve escalations.
* Support rollout activities: training coordination, cutover planning, and hypercare (as applicable).
* Maintain alignment with IT/enterprise standards (security, architecture reviews, compliance).
**Required qualifications**
* 3–7\+ years managing IT projects (software, infrastructure, ERP, cybersecurity, or related).
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall; hybrid approaches common).
* Experience with planning and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet).
* Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and deliver outcomes under constraints.
* Strong risk, schedule, and budget management skills.
* Familiarity with SDLC and delivery practices (requirements, testing, releases).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**Preferred qualifications**
* ITIL/ITSM knowledge and experience with change management (where applicable).
* PM certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CSM or equivalent).
* Experience delivering enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, data platforms, cloud migrations).
* Background knowledge of security/compliance requirements for IT projects.
* Experience managing technical resources and vendors in regulated environments.
