Infrastructure Planning Engineer Onyx Civil Engineering is expanding our strategic development team within Al Batinah North. We are immediately seeking a forward\-thinking Infrastructure Planning Engineer to drive the design phase, scheduling accuracy, and structural compliance of our municipal utility, drainage, and road network projects. This permanent, full\-time position is located at our project headquarters on Al Hijrah Street, Sohar 311\. We provide a comprehensive, tax\-free salary package of OMR 1,980 per month, which includes all local living, housing, and transit allowances. **Strategic Ownership \& Daily Scope** In this position, you will serve as the technical engine behind our project timelines and resource allocations. You will translate complex raw civil designs into logical, phased construction schedules, managing critical path milestones for heavy earthworks, utility diversions, and structural installations. This role demands continuous collaboration with site managers and municipal authorities to resolve alignment conflicts, optimize resource leveling, and mitigate project delays before they impact the bottom line. You will also oversee progress measurement tracking to ensure all billing and project updates are backed by verifiable site data. **Your Technical Matrix** * **Experience Baseline:** 4 to 6 years of direct experience working as a Planning Engineer or Project Controls Specialist specifically on large\-scale civil infrastructure, road works, or urban utility projects. * **Software Fluency:** Deep, demonstrable mastery of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, including advanced knowledge of resource loading and earned value management analytics. * **Academic Credentials:** A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required. A professional certification like PMI\-SP (Scheduling Professional) or PSP is highly regarded. * **Communication Skills:** Flawless technical English literacy is required for engineering documentation and master schedule reporting.
