Summary: The Planning Engineer will develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules for electrical distribution projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution. Highlights: 1. Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operational teams The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules to ensure the timely and efficient execution of electrical distribution projects. The role requires strong expertise in planning tools and a solid understanding of electrical distribution systems. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera (P6\), Microsoft Project, or similar tools. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define timelines, milestones, and resource requirements. * Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare periodic progress reports for management. * Identify risks and delays, recommend corrective actions, and implement mitigation plans to ensure schedule compliance. * Plan and allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, in coordination with procurement and logistics teams. * Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, updates, and reports. * Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operational teams to support seamless project delivery. **Qualifications \& Skills:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. * Proven experience in planning and scheduling for electrical distribution projects. * Proficiency in Primavera (P6\), Microsoft Project, or equivalent scheduling software. * Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems **(transformers, switchgear, substations, transmission**). * Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Open to relocation to UAE **Preferred Experience:** * Prior work experience in power distribution projects within the GCC region.
