Lead and manage the accounting team We are seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced **Accounting Supervisor** to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our accounting department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise and manage the day\-to\-day operations of the accounting team * Assist staff in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports * Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance * Monitor cash flow and identify financial risks or irregularities * Coordinate with department heads to ensure budget control * Prepare and review **GST and VAT filings**, ensuring timely compliance * Handle **TDS calculations, deductions, and returns filing** * Oversee **payroll processing**, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance * Ensure timely payment of all statutory dues including GST, VAT, and TDS * Perform general ledger reconciliations and maintain proper records * Recruit, train, and supervise junior accounting staff * Implement performance monitoring and disciplinary actions where required * Provide regular financial updates and reports to management * Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting and tax regulations * Stay updated with latest accounting systems and regulatory changes **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field * Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor or similar role * Strong knowledge of **GST, VAT, TDS, and payroll processing** * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) * Ability to manage large volumes of financial data * Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills * Strong leadership and team management abilities * Effective communication skills Job Type: Full\-time Work Location: In person
