To strengthen our corporate finance team in Muscat, we are seeking a detail\-oriented **Cost Accountant** to oversee cost analysis and support strategic decision\-making. Role Overview The **Cost Accountant** will be responsible for analyzing costs, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate financial tracking across the group’s operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide insights that improve efficiency and profitability. Key Responsibilities * Analyze production and operational costs across business units. * Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analyses for management. * Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to monitor expenses. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. * Support audits and provide documentation as required. * Recommend cost\-saving initiatives and process improvements. * Maintain accurate records of inventory and cost allocations. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and cost management practices. * Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (ERP experience preferred). * Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. * Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
